Lip Spoiler and Aerodynamics

It is my understanding that the Euro Lip Spoiler actually reduces drag and was designed to do so. Would any lip spoiler do the same, perhaps even do it better? I know its a real stretch, but would anyone happen to know which lip spoiler is best, performance wise?

It would take an aeronautical engineer and a wind tunnel to tell if a spoiler reduced/increased drag. Most will increase down force while increasing drag. Most companies take a guess on what will work. If it looks good, it will sell. That is the important thing. They probably have very little more knowledge on the subject than you or I.
