M1 Kit from Extreme Dimensions?

Hey guys, I was looking into getting the M1 Kit from Extreme Dimensions but I was a little hesitant. Mainly because I don't know how good they are with stock fitment. I guess I'm turning to you guys for opinions. I can't afford to drop 3-4k for the genuine Mazdaspeed body kit and if this can achieve the same thing then I'd rather go this route. I know a guy that's pretty good with body work so I'm sure he could manage but I thought I'd put this out there to see what people on the forums think. Also, I have the side aeros and I'm working on putting the rear aero pieces on, do you guys think it would look ugly if I just got the mazdaspeed front end and rolled with the side aeros instead of the MS skirts?

there are quite a few threads that talk about the poor fitment of extreme dimensions. If your looking for a replica kit i would recommend Shine Auto, exceptional fitment and quality for the money

if you're buying a replica kit you are ruining your car, there's no excuse to do so, just save up the extra cash and go real, extreme is the WORST, and most of the others are not that better and you will have issues. Don't do it man, save yourself some aggravation and just go real. I've seen the shine's, I don't know what everyone is on about as so far every single one I've seen doesn't fit right either, and I still don't get how anyone can support companies who rip off other companies designs anyway, am I the only person left in the world with any sort of a conscience or what? I've modded my car with a VERY limited budget and have all real parts, if I can do it anyone can

E.D. is the worst body-kit making company of all time

Thanks for the opinions. Never worked with body kits that's why I decided to ask here. The reason I will not go all genuine is because the asking prices are insanely high. There's no way I'm going to pay 4k for a body kit on a 15k car. (how much I bought mine for). Then again, maybe I don't need the Mazdaspeed kit. There are equally nice kits out there that are a fraction of the price. I'm looking to spend at or under 3k for the kit and paint job to match. I don't want to buy the parts pre-painted. Thanks for the opinions so far, I'll take it all into account and steer clear of ED.

Extreme dimensions is extremely bad.. horrible quality. look into www.body-kit.com or shine.

As far as replicas go, most suck. Shine has a very good reputation.

This is my front bumper, I think the company is KBD, fitment is by no means perfect, but it is good.

MazdaSpeed kit is overpriced, but for that price you get OEM fitment, and perfect paint.

What about the rear diffuser, as far as replicas go? Are there any companies that make it out of the same type of resin-rubber type material that the ms is made of?

If you have a friend who does bodywork then but the cracked MS front in the FS forum for $250.00 and get it fixed.

I got the raven sideskirts from Ebay, and man, I wasted 286 with shipping, I tried getting help to fir them and they told me first off, it would cost about 400 to paint them and get them to fit, due to the EXTREME fittment adjusment they had to do. DONT do it, not even some simple sideskirts. Im saving to the the MS sideskirts and the Spoiler, which will be about 1800, but comes painted and ready to fit and install perfect...

Racing Beat side kilts are very good.

This is what any Scottish man wears. A good pair of kilts.
