Matching side markers?

Matching side markers?
So everyone seams to be a fan of the clear side markers, and a few blacked out, but has anyone matched their side markers to their paint?
Well I did today, just see how it looked. Here is a pic. Let me know what you think.
I work at a sign shop and found some translucent silver vinyl that matched my paint perfectly. Covered the side markers and made eye-lids.
Since the vinyl is translucent they still work:-)
Not sure if I like it... Would prefer black... but translucent black is sort of a oxymoron.

HA! I thought about doing that too! You mean the silver piece that runs down the side of the center console? And what pillars are you talking about?
I don't think anyone would charge you more than 100 or 150 dollars to do that. Anything that has to do with vinyl is nearly all labor. The material cost is virtually insignificant... so if you are willing to do the work yourself (which is pretty easy) you could probably get all the vinyl for like $25.

I got rid of my sides the 2 months into ownership of my car by having my new bumper fiberglassed over so of course I love the matched side markers.
Looks great and still is functional!
