I work for a company that produces high end emblems. We have an emblem in our display case that no one seems to be able to identify here and i want it for my 8. Im sure this was produced for a 7, probably around the late 80s judging from the technology of the emblem. I was wondering if anyone had seen anything like this before. Before you ask, no we do not have any others and i will not steal it for you. I allready have to hold myself back every day that i come in.

 

Nice emblem. Ever thought about selling them in a group buy format to us forum members? I'd like something different from the Mazda "M"

 

Unfortunately these look so old that im fairly positive we donot have the molds anymore. Besides the fact that we wouldnt even consider running something like this under 2000 units IF we had the mold.

 

That would be a nice-to-have. Wonder if we can get 2000 committed members? Probably not...

 

Heres the deal, we no longer have the mold and this is the only one we have. There are re-designing the display room shortly i will become the owner of said emblem. All i have to do now is get the gold rims, i think that emblem would look slick on my white 8 if i threw some gold wheels on it.

 

Retro look good on a hat, polo shirt.

 

Looks like something that might have come with at 10th anniversery edition Turbo 2. Dont know for sure but it looks like that era. Would have been a special edition badge only available on the 1988 10AE TII.
