The authentic Mazdaspeed body parts (bumper etc...) are no longer in production. They were originally only available through Mazda dealers. Unless you stumble across a company that bought up some, has one left, and doesn't advertise it, you pretty much have to buy a used set.
Even if it was for sale still, it's certainly NOT cheap. Any cheap one you would have found would be a replica, and that means it can have fitment problems and require modification. You aren't going to find authentic perfect fit body parts and also have them cheap. Just doesn't happen. The cheap comes from taking short cuts...
Regarding paint, if you find a used set in your body color then no, it won't require painting.

If you want to avoid fitment problems, then go through the manufacturers directly. Anything else has a decent shot at having fitment problems.
As for what is out there, go look at the "calling all body kits" thread (or something like that) and start doing research into different brands. I can't list a single website that has more than 1 for sale unless they are selling replicas. Prices vary even more than personal opinion about what you think looks good. So I can't tell you to pick one over another, etc... This is something you have to do your own research on.

I mean the kit manufacturers. Like if you wanted the Veil Side, go through their website. If you want INGs, go through INGs website. If you want Burnout, go through their website, etc...
And yes, kits WILL be expensive unless you get replicas.
The RX-8 has lots of curves that make it harder to fit something (which makes it cost more). If the manufacturer wants to prevent the new bumpers from causing aero problems or cooling problems, then the investment cost goes up. Making sure the tooling for the parts is precise and repeatable so that fitment is flawless every time makes the price go up. Packaging the parts for shipment so they don't get twisted from movement or temperatures makes the price go up.
The RX-8 is a low volume car which means a small market to recoup investment costs.
Any authentic kit is GOING to be pricey, very very legitimately.
The replicas are made by companies who want in on the market, but aren't willing or can't go the full length as the big companies, so they take shortcuts, usually in the manufacturing process. Usually this means fitment problems. Fragile or brittle material is also possible that shatters when hit with road pebbles. But hey! you get it cheaper right? So it must have been worth it?
No, if you want quality, you HAVE to pay for it. There is no other option here.

The front bumper in that link is a replica.
Typically with replicas, the fitment problems are things like missing mounting points, a curve that is supposed to match the body lines isn't quite right, the bumper is flexed outward and when the fender tips are bent inward it flexes the whole bumper badly, etc...
Usually body work is required to get it to fit properly, otherwise you are left with gaps where there shouldn't be, overlapping bodywork where there shouldn't be, etc... And then once you pay a bunch to get it fitted properly you get it painted to match the car, and a month later the paint won't stay on the bumper or the bumper is all cracked up from common road debris.

Yes, if a website is selling even 1 piece of replica, it's pretty safe bet that every other body piece they have in the same kit is a replica as well.
I can't tell you what you will be fine with. Only you can make that call.

From what ive seen, the manufacturer KBD makes the best fitting mazdaspeed front bumper replica.
they arent all great, but they have a better track record of fitting well than any of the other companies. Ive seen 2 or 3 and they were slightly off the sidemarkers. look up on the forums for kbd replica front bumpers.
USUALLY people dont post threads like "hey check out my sweet cheap replica bodykit" so if you cant find anything, try searching through the classifieds section of people selling the front bumper, they usually have pics along with it.
go through ALOT of different classifieds and you will start to see that not all for example VIS replicas fit the same, some better than others but not perfect. you will start to know which companies generally make better fitting kits.
CorkSport makes a replica of the mazdaspeed that deletes the sidemarkers and has a different style mesh, i have yet to see a picture on the forum or anybody commenting on fitment, but they are a reputable company, i dont see them having a shoddy replica that doesnt fit, but its entirely possible.

I am looking for a body kit as well and had the same questions as OP. Now that I know the Mazdaspeed is no longer in production I have to settle for a body kit that I like and a reputable manufacturer so fitment would not be too expensive (because, base on whats been posted here, fitment cost will be unavoidable).
So a guide to go by when buying a body kit would be:
1. Find the kit that I like.
2. Find a reputable manufacture that produces the kit that I like.
3. Go for the best quality materials.
4. The budget should be twice the cost of the actual kit to compensate for extra fitment fees.
Referring to post #9, these are the common problems with replicas. Are these problems also expected with any body kit regardless if replicas or not?
Is urethane the best material to go for??

for your second question, it depends on application. Urethane is nice because it doesnt crack like fiberglass at the expense of it sagging eventually in a few years depending on sunlight exposure. It allows for minor easy modification by just heating it up.
Fiberglass will never sag and can easily be fixed with patches, but they crack.
its all tradeoffs. this is the general +'s and -'s of them but much more exist, thats where your homework comes in.

Here's the urethane version which we sell, made in the USA:
VSaero Urethane RX8 Mazda Speed Style Kit
Full Poly Urethane kit, features full replacement rear bumper rather than a lip.
Poly Urethane has a smoother finish when compared to Fiberglass. It is also much more flexible than any fiberglass, "flex" fiberglass or even factory oem plastic.
Poly Urethane is more expensive but over the long run should be a more economical choice over fiberglass since it lasts much longer. Good for daily drivers.

You've seen "hundreds" of "wavy urethane" RX8 Mazda Speed style bumpers so I assume you can easily take a picture of one we've sold to you or a friend.
You have any evidence of this or are you just making stuff up?
Are you just assuming FIBERGLASS is the same as URETHANE and angry because you bought A BUMPER from a totally different company and therefore blame it on us somehow? Those are some pretty amazing mental gymnastics you're pulling off.
EricB had a good explanation of pros and cons of both materials. Fiberglass and urethane are two totally different animals.
Surely, you're not just lying so please post the date / sales order # / pictures or the "wavy" urethane bumper and receipt from our company / PayPal transaction number / Authorize.net order number, I've got all day, I'll be waiting.

Hey guys, I know this is an older thread but I’m looking at a mazdaspeed kit for sale locally and listed for a decent price too. I’m getting closer to the end of my build and don’t want to get ripped off with a fake kit. Any really specific cues to look for so I can ensure authenticity? I’ll post the link below it has photos but they’re not amazing, almost seems too good to be true but I’m not too sure what the going rate is on these kits right now so any guidance would be awesome! Thanks 👍🏻
