mazdaspeed bumper inserts

I searched and couldn't find where do buy mazdaspeed grill inserts. I was hoping there was a website for it. Also, I am looking a foglight conversion kit to go from stock bumper to mazda speed bumper. I bought a replica, and the fitment is almost perfect..

have you tried searching? I just answered someone yesterday, concerning the fog light mount alternative...

As for the grilles, I've also been searching and haven't found any place that sells them individually.

Maaco has been in business for a long time, so they are a very legit company. I've never used them, but i heard a lot of good stuffs about them from friends that have prior experience with them.

Yeah they want $175, which isn't too bad, but I'm gonna search around for prices.

LOL maaco sucks ***. the reason they are still around is because people keep thinking "oh they are cheap AND they have been around for a long time, must be good." then they realize that is why they are in business, because people keep falling for it. I hope you dont get orange peel too.

their paint chips within a very short time.

i was reading on rx7club... a guy who worked at maaco said that after they finished painting the car they would put it outside with wet paint to get another car in to paint and they couldnt care less if leaves or dirt or any debris got onto the wet paint.

what replica did you get? im excited to find out that the fitment is good, show us sidemarker fitment! oh and frp or urethane?

a way to save on painting is to do all of the prepwork yourself, and just have them paint it.

It's fiberglass, it fits perfect, already got the side markers in here are some pics, I'm unsure hat replica it is, bought it off a guy on here for $50. I'm happy with it though, I was gonna sell it if it didn't fit good.

orange peel would be the least of your worries. if you don't do prep work, it won't get prepped. it won't get primered. it won't get clear coated. if you don't do any taping yourself, they'll paint right over your rubber windows seals and trim. they are the worst possible place you could take your car. slightly, slightly better than rattle canning your own car.

i forgot about mentioning that lol.. they overspray errrthang.

when i paint my future fd, im doing ALL of the prepwork myself, all i want the paint shop to do is paint and clear in order to keep costs down and have quality results. the paint will never come out better than the prepwork.

Well considering he's not taking the whole car to get painted overspray and rubber seals getting painted do not apply. I have seen a car painted by Maaco and it was WAY better than a DIY rattle can paint job. 1997 Honda Accord sedan, black whole car. I can assure you for a little over $500 no one can do better (unless its a buddy deal). Maaco will probably do fine but be sure to tell them EXACTLY what you want done and probably best to do all the sanding yourself.
