I was up late the other night searching for rx-8 parts online locally, and found what looked like a full accessory 07 Mazdaspeed WWP in a junk yard. i almost didn't believe it and thought 'fiberglass....' but texted the guy and made plans the next day to visit the yard as if they were real it would be worth the drive. So I drove 1 hour south the next morning and ended coming back with these parts for almost next to nothing! other than MS wheels this is all he had..... dang
OEM MS rear
OEM MS intake
OEM MS wing
Door panel (mine was damaged) grand total= $350
I will use the MS intake for my Greddy turbo kit for cooler air and I already have R3 sides so all i need is the MS front. so stoked...... just wanted to share my bounty with my rotary peeps.

the guy didn't know what he had and simply was parting out the car as if it were just another Mazda. win win situation for both of us.
Currently i have an OEM rear fog and OEM appearance rear flares that i will miss.... but it will be for the greater good i guess. i will keep it regardless as you never know what can happen.
Yeah the one on my car was purchased from a dealer, it was one of the last ones, it was hard to find and that was several years ago. I finally got the rear (still not installed) last year from a guy who had it in his garage. brand new in the box. It will go one when I get some body work done here soon.
Wow, good catch. I don't get it, an 07 should still be under warranty or just out of it. Was it smashed?
owner of the yard told me it was an auction car with a blown motor. all other parts including engine (blown) and chassis were parted out. there were only a hood and some doors left. luckily i got the right door panel i was looking for.
what's a warranty... ?i forget as it has been so long...
nop not that one. although i have heard of standard before. this was a private lot owned by a guy who simply bought the car on auction. he wanted to rebuild the engine but decided not too. best decision he made.
Nice score. Love to see deals like that.
Did something similar for my wife's MazdaSpeed Protege a few months ago. Found an MSP at a local U-Pick listed as a Protege and all parts flat-priced. Got an MSP motor with a SteedSpeed exhaust manifold and an upgraded downpipe on it for $210. (Also, haven't looked inside the motor yet, but, there was a Wiseco sticker in the engine bay, so may have more goodies.)
