Mazdaspeed front grill FYI

Mazdaspeed front grill FYI (updated with pictures)
Well I was a bit unhappy with how my front grills turned out on my kit, I was also a bit irritated to find my foglights were showing 2 different colors since I had my headlights swapped out due to my original ones being damaged from my wreck. After some minor frustration trying to get some help I decided to re-do my front grills myself and just buy different mesh with my own money. I've seen several different ways for installing the mesh, some people have it cover the entire opening and even the foglights, some people have the lights cut out of the mesh, and the last option and the way I re-did mine is to have the mesh stop where the brackets start.
Here's the important part as after searching I did not find this info anywhere:
If you're going to re-do your grill mesh, be sure to purchase 2 sheets of the material.
I purchased a 1 sheet off Ebay and it was 12 tall x48 wide. It was just enough to do the front opening and the 2 sides because I chose to cut it off at the foglight bracket. In order to do all 3 openings completely you will need more material. I don't know if this has come up yet, if anyone has pondered changing out theirs or whatever, but just in case I wanted to post it so that everyone will think to order/purchase 2 sheets of whatever mesh you decide to go with. (not to mention having some spare in case you cut it wrong etc.) I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, my goal was to add a little more black to the front and to have both lights the same color, I'm happy to say I have yellow fogs now and the front end came out killer. I'll add pics first chance I get, but this project took a really long time (due to a "snap" holding in my bumper I practically had to dremel off lol) and it's too dark outside now. On a totally seperate note, I took a look at my AEM and the filter was pretty clean, I cleaned up the intake arm a bit as it had some light grime, but the filter itself was a-ok.
PICTURES BELOW:
So I took one this morning in the parking lot at work after driving through the rain, also noticed I forgot to bend down one of the tabs holding the mesh in place at the bottom (sweet!..ugh). I also took some obligatory driveway shots after giving her a bath, sorry if some look fuzzy, I'm still learning how to use my camera (Canon Powershot a95) I have some huge 1600x1200 if anyone needs them for reference at http://www.texasrxs.org/junk/new%20front . And now on to the mre bandwidth friendly shots:
This morning at work and filthy:
ahh..freshly washed:
partial view of the front:
Another front shot:
frontal shot with flash, looks like it's smiling!:
passenger side shot:
silly driveway angle shot:
back end (probably going to go the Evo-R lip spoiler route at some point, right now I'm wing/spoilerless):
one more shot with my partner in crime, my dog Roxi :
if anyone has any questions fire away, that was as much as I could get before it got dark, otherwise i would have shot stereo and under the hood shots lol

yeppers, after looking at it for a few months now (and also noticing I had 2 different kinds of mesh installed, now i know what happened at the place I got the repairs etc. done) it just seemed that my silver mesh didn't work with the black bar across the nose, I wanted something to tie that in a bit better as it just seemed it was a bit much on the front, now everything looks more uniform. (and all 3 openings have the same mesh too..yay!)
