cool - I'd be interested - there's no way I'm paying $800 for a spoiler either. All those that have can say all they want about the "quality" of it, but I really don't see it being an issue for me, as long as fitment is good.

I have the real MS spoiler. Make sure any replica you get can stand up to vibrations. When the car hits bumps, or when you slam the trunk, the spoiler will bend and flex.

I've had two ms spoilers on my car so far. Both had no problems except the fitting on the right side of the bottom lip. It isn't flush to the trunk. Do a search and you'll see some pics that show it. It's not too bad, but annoying considering the cost.

yes i have seen it
polak pointed it out to me on a car at a show.
i seen it,but not that big of a problem
but i understand you paided so much you would like it flush with the trunk. m/s spoiler i saw was not flush on driver side
where trunk met spoiler lip.
thanks.

Do you have the OEM at the moment or none at all?

The MS will bolt into the factory holes.

Good luck, if it is a well made copy then it's a steal at $250.

Interesting .... that's really cheap considering the compexity and quality of the real kit. I'd be very leary of quality at that price, but the only way to find out is get one and live with it for a while. It's also curious that's the only RX-8 part they offer ... probably just a front company and not the manufacturer ... which means for them to have any margin, they are buying it for even cheaper!

I'm also leary of sites whose only means of contact is e-mail. I didn't see a single phone number or address. Probably off-shore somewhere ... Good Luck! Let us know how it turns out.

Excellent find Kelly - let me know when you order and receive, I might have to get one myself if the quality is good.

cortc, I've had two installed, and looked at about 6 others that have the MS Spoiler, they all have the right side slightly not flush on the trunk. Even some other people on this board have noticed it and posted photos.

To be honest, I didn't even notice it myself, until a friend pointed it out to me.

Great find. That is much cheaper than the real MS. Hopefully painting isn't too much.
