Hey kel did you had any probs with the fiberglass brackets so far??Are strong enough for big speeds??Or my wing will go straight at the hood of the car behind??? I am ordering mine today and i must send a cheque with 400$ cause i am in Europe and i have 150 for shipping.... I wonder in how many days i will have it...Why these guys don't answer in their emails quick??So much job??Just lucky 1euro is 1.25dollars :D :D

I am going to paint the wing in velocity red and i ll chrome the brackets..if i have probs with driving it i will go to make aluminum brackets...I ll post pics too. Thanks kel for all the info friend nice job.

not sure if this is the right place to ask.
is there any way you can tell the difference between an aftermarket an a original MS spoiler even if you went really close?

making the predrilled holes is a easy thing all you have to do is ask a forum member here to send you or get a copy of the mazdaspeed paper template.

anywhere from $75-150

it was some what of a playing email tag but it was worth it
last time i talked to him i told him if all works out with wing there will be more members buying from him.
when i received the package i told him i was happy and he wanted me to let everyone know he has more instock.so if u want shoot him a message that i was the 1st person to buy the wing.(except for the guy on ebay that paided close to $500 ouch)lol
im sure it will all work out but i dont believe i have a phone # if i remeber every email takes 4-5 days

OR...you could always make your own. It's not difficult provided you can measure accruately and do a bit of math. Also, another way to mark things is to assemble it and place it on your trunk lid and mark the holes. If they are hidden, the bolts that go through the trunk lid can be used by placing rolled up masking tape on the bottom of the holes and then putting the spoiler in position which will leave the masking tape in the correct positions. Remember, even if you are slightly off, this area will be covered from sight.

I once drew up this dagram that helps to explain if you want to do the measuring and marking without a template.

Thanks for answering the PM's Kel. My wing turned up last week - 5 days to ship to the UK and the quality is v v v good for fiber-glass replica. Its down with the bodyshop guys now, and the car is going in beginning of april to get the boot-lid debadge finished, this fitted and my real MS mirrors fitted, can't wait. Here's a couple of pics - its just lying on the boot-lid hence the gaps (and the bolts were all still in place so they push the front up)

Even more of a multiplier for me as the carsoption wing worked out just over £120 with the current exchange rate. They've reduced it to $229 at the mo.

Got the MS mirrors off ebay - UK MS distributer put them up and I eventually won them for £310, which is about £100 under normal UK shipped price.

So almost 3x the cost!!! Still, looking forward to seeing it all done.

Maybe some tints and that's it!!! (Unless a new rear comes on the market that finally does it for me!)
