well guys i went to bodyshop today
owner noel of noc automotive is the one of the best shops around.he has worked on my headlights,spoiler on my rx7 has done a ton of rx7's including jay's(turbo vr6)award winning
re amemiya rx7 taking best of show at rotorfest.well you guys get the point hes very qualified.
but he is leaving on vacation this week and cant work on my car till july 26.ouch
hes a extremely busy guy and cant get it done this week before he leaves.so i made the decision to wait for him,even though i can check out another shop.
but i want it done right so.
wingless for now.
any questions or special pixs ?
also if needed i can be contacted @ kelrx8 on aim.

Looks a lot better with the body color on the brackets than I thought...Maybe I'll pick one up.....hmmmm.

It doesn't look that bad.

If you didn't say it was a replica, I doubt I would have been able to tell.

The color seems to be slightly different on the spoiler than the rest of the car.

Oh I thought I'd let you guys know that I did run across a website with an ABS plastic knockoff version with metal pedastels a few weeks ago.. I'm sure someone will come across it in a few weeks......it looks to be of decent quality from the pics I saw.

the arrow is the only thing that kind of bothered me but a easy sanding and straighting from the body shop and they said she be okay.

its made out of abs isnt that fiberglass ?well the top part of the wing which is thick
and feels like a urethane bumper and its stamped with a abs emblem.
lower spoiler is not as thick as the top part.

 

hey guys i got mine today!!! its not yellow though, its black, and i havent bolted it on yet, so i dont know how it fits yet. the painted fiberglass doesnt look that bad actually, its good quality for the price!

 

i got mine in today also. Pretty good quality, better than i expected. Mine didnt come in either yellow or black, but just plain white and i am happy with my purchase...just needs some painting then ill be set to go

 

all in all it may not be original but for the price
you cant beat it.
im thinking of doing the metal stands
but not sure how it will hold up with the fiberglass againts it or the vibrations stress it will cause on the fiberglass so for now i will leave it alone and install it the way i got it.all fiberglass
what do you guys think ?
and post some pixs of it on when you guys have a chance.

 

Pretty good for $250, Not too sure about the fiber glass brackets tho. Where's the finished product pix?
