Mazdaspeed Vs speed bumps?

Has anyone had any trouble with speed bumps and such after having the mazdaspeed body kit?

I don't have the whole MazdaSpeed kit...but I just put on my side skirts the other day. So far, I went over quite a few and nothing...no scrapes.

how hard was the side skirt install Blue_Chameleon? I'm waiting on my shipment. I've already got the bumper on and I just need to install the rear bumper and side skirts. I've never done any bodywork before.

Haven't scraped once with the front bumper on.... stock suspension setup though. I'm sure you'd scrap sometimes if you lowered the car.

I had a friend help me with the install...I myself never put on any kits before, although he has. We followed the directions that came with it, and we started on the passenger side. It took us a good hour and a half on that side and after that, it only took me 30 minutes on the driver side.

I used to have a camaro that had a kit and it was lowered 1.5"...I was barely able to put my foot underneath where the sideskirts were. After driving that thing around, you learn to drive up driveways, over speed bumps, etc....diagonally. But you will still get a few scrapes here and there.

I have the front and sides and I haven't scraped on speed bumps, but I have on some driveways or entryways. If you go really slow and at an angle (the severity of the angle depends on how steep the driveway is), you should be fine.
