I think it looks alright.
I used the virtual garage to create the picture. Check out this site if you haven't before. You can make all sorts of changes to your 8.

Factory Appear. Pckg + MS side skirts?
I've been thinking about how this would look for a while now. I like the front and rear of the factory package but dislike the half side skirts. I really like the MS side skirts though.
I think it would look good, the only thing I'm worried is that it appears the MS side skirts will be around an inch lower then the front air dam.
Anyone actually have this combo yet? Anyone photoshopped it yet?

pr0ber,
I feel the same way, I like the front and rear but not fond of the half side skirts. I've ordered the MazdaSpeed side skirts last week. I have no idea when they will arive but I'll post some pictures when I get them installed.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has been thinking about this. I like the look of the MS sideskirts, but I don't want to lose my rotary accents on the front and back. Can someone Photoshop it (preferrably in blue)?

IMHO the only thing I don't like as far as options are those brown and black seats on a red car. I know there are those who like it and no offense but I find it in bad taste. LOL... That's why they offer all the different options. Even though we all love this car, some of us will love some options and others hate them. If we all wanted the same it wouldn't be much fun now would it?

I haven't received the Mazda Speed Side Skirts but here are some comparison pictures I produced from the RX-8 Virtual Garage .

The MS skirts with the rest of the factory kit would look good. I agree with comments about the part skirts - they wouldn't be my preference.
The benefit of the part skirt factory option is probably over speed bumps. In my neck of the woods the MS skirts wouldn't last 5 minutes. Sydney is a great place to go sight seeing for broken lower aero bits.
Nothing looks worse than cracked and scarred bolt on bits on a nice car.

I wonder if its possible to use the MS side kit with the stock front mud flaps. I really like the look of that MS over the stock side flares.

Say, how did you get those screenshots? I tried the usual right-click and "save as" but that wasn't an option.
Check out the Mazdaspeed kit + strakes and polished wheels (other polished wheels might look even better)...only substitute the "loop" spoiler (appearance pkg.) for the MS spoiler. If I couldn have any accessories I wanted, I think this might be the way I'd go. Pretty sweet, esp. in black!
For less $$$, the previously mentioned "appearance package but with MS skirts instead of half skirts" looks really nice too. Especially with the rotary accents. Gotta have those if you use the front lip from the accent package. And don't forget the MS mirrors for either combo (currently way overpriced).
EDIT: Actually, the MS rear spoiler + sides + lip spoiler looks pretty wicked too!
