Appearance package w/ Mazdaspeed rear wing?
I've seen several people post that they were thinking about getting the MS rear wing along with the front and side aero package bits. Has anyone actually done this, and if so could you post pictures? I've done it myself on the Virtual Garage site, but its just not the same as seeing it in a real world photograph.

No the Mazdaspeed kit is not urethane. just look at the description at Japanparts.com. It says Polypropylene... There is another discusion about this in Trussville Mazda's forum https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...5&pagenumber=1 where it is said to be injected mold substance. I checked out the Mazdaspeed RX-8 (not a parts job, but model car) at the Tokyo Motorshow which they had side by side with a regular rx-8. That bodykit is as good as the stock plastic, if not the same material.
The black 8 on rotaryextreme's site is a forum member's car with the kit on it.
The official MS kit can be purchased for less than the average site (I haven't compared all) from Trussville Mazda or Rosenthal Mazda. The kit comes painted.
My preference is with the Autoexe kit... less boy racer and more subdued... I'm thinking RX-8 vs BMW 325i at all times... but my concern if buying one would be the same as buying the Rotaryextreme kit... how well does fiberglass perfom in comparison to stock plastic? If you end up plowing some snow in the winter is the fiberglass going to crack or break? If you "opps" and nudge the car in front when parking at the mall, are you going to crack the fiberglass?
There are certainly a lot of cars here with various bodykits on them, and there ae many of them that are cracked, broken and patched...

For those of you who have ever wondered what it would look like to mix and match Mazdaspeed and Mazda factory Appearance Package items, you have simply GOT to check out this site!!!
Configured your RX-8 with all the optional accessories and Mazdaspeed parts. Require Macromedia Flash.

goodyRX8, could I ask a bit of a favor from you? As you have the MS side skirt with the appearance package rear... could you post a rear 3/4 view of the car? There is another thread about the MS skirt but with the appearance rear instead of the MS one.... we are wondering how it'd look... I'm thinking it'll go ok.

Omicron... I didn't think the view was good enough (used it before)... but I just tried again and it was. Although it's still not the same as a RL pic... it was pretty good. Thanks!
