These are my modded headlights and they look awsome. Looking at them in person is the only way to justify how good it looks. I saw the little bead of lights in the Audi R8 and I said I gotta have them. The led strip is hooked up to the fog-light connector, but I might connect it seperatly so they can go on without the headlights. The lights are also tined and have eyelids. Just finished putting everything togethor last night while it started snowing, and I also just discovered that the 8 really sucks in the snow.

 

need to make the pics a little bigger, their kinda hard to see, but they look nice, i cant tell from the pics but do they light up blue? I think they look nice, they arent to big that they fill up the headlight, but at the same time they compliment your car nicely

 

How did you get the LED strip in there?

 

not too shabby, I *might* try this some day if I ever feel ambitious.

oh and lil Gato: you gotta bake open the headlights to do this

Perks if you click the pic it will make it bigger, and Lil Gato you have to open up the headlights and I epoxied them in there.

 

damn that actually looks pretty good! I want to see some shots of just the LED's on w/out the Headlights... that would look legit

09 lights WILL fit an 04-08 rx8.

they just will pop out 1/4"

they dont sit flush.

actually nvrfalter I can see fine at night. But if I had an HID with a hint of color in it, then it would be a different story.

 

Yeah I dont have too bad of a problem seeing at night, but I mean its not like it used to be... And what wrong with having a big eyelid???

 

headlights will definitely not fit. theyre a totally different shape. youre talking about taillights.

btw, nothing wrong with big eyelids. i like urs gato. i just felt like the straight line style that OP has isnt as effective with that much of the headlight covered. just personal preference.
