MS Front Bumper Questions

MS Front Bumper Questions
I just had a quick question about the Mazdaspeed front bumper and was trying to get some opinions as well.
I've noticed that some MS front bumpers have a black plastic strip right underneath the nose and some don't. Does this black plastic going across indicate a Geniune MS front bumper?
And if you could get a replica that doesn't have that black strip for cheaper and fitment isn't an issue, would you still get it?
And last question, do you think it looks wierd to have a MS front without sides or a rear?

the oem MS is the only one that has that black strip and you cant get the strip only from mazda....any replica usually has fitment issues.....and the last question is all about personal taste

all genuine usdm ms fronts have that black bar. replicas dont.
also jdm ms fronts dont have it. iirc the US version covers up the bar behind that lack strip, and the jdm one has no bar behind it. i think.

there's a VR replica in the for sale forum from another member, and they gave me a pretty good price and it includes a carbon fiber splitter. they said fitment is decent on it and I have a few people that have some experience with body work so we can try and make it as perfect as possible

I have just the MS bumper without the sides or rear. It really makes the car look front heavy from certain angles. It's driving me crazy so the sideskirts are the next addition. I opted to install the rear aero flares over the MS rear bumper since they match well and cost 600 dollars less.
