Okay i've done it i've went ahead and ordered the urethane MS front and sides from Thew. I'll get it in a week or so.

I need some opinions from you guys on the color of the trim on the MS pieces... I'm also painting the rear grey plastic piece on the rear bumper

i dont really want to do the gunmetallic color from the real MS kit....i want to do something that will be different and be able to just be a little bit more unique...

i've had flat black in mind....


any other ideas? I have a black 8.

 

Do you mean just the lower portions of the pieces? I assume yes on that question. What color are your calipers? It is going to be hard to not do the gunmetal - it looks great on the Black 8 IMO.

 

I don't think black trim would look good w/black kit. Trim would get lost. Agree w/nemesis, same color as calipers may be good.

My calipers are not painted...so they're the stock silverish color...

Hmm...i think that doing up the trim in flat black would be more of a subtle thing in opposed to something that will jump out at you... more stealth :D

paint code A39=medium purple graphite gray pearl metallic
paint code 87U=black pearl metallic

flat black doesn't look good at all.....

 

those are japanese/import car paint codes

87U is peral Black, under Gerneral Motor

 

A39 is a darker color, it's different from the stock color, i'm just giving some info since the guy want to know what color he need for his rear

both A39 and 87U are NOT a mazda color,
A39 is from Mitsubitshi, 87U is from General Motor
and they're both 2005's new color

A39 is this color from the Mitsu EVO MR

 

i like that shade of gray it seems abit better than mazda's titanium gray.

body color is A39 EvoMR color, under body ( bottom of the sideskirt and bottom of the rear ) will be 87U the black pearl....

 

for some reasons i still cant find a picture of a vehicle with the 87U color...
