MS sideskirts, does it scrape?
hello, I was trying to get a feel on how low the MS side skirts really are...
I plan dropping my car quite a bit and I want to know if you normally experience scraping on the ssideskirts only... thanks

Unfortunately I "think" they will be scraping. I don't have have the kit yet (planning to). But my car is now lowered with appx. 2" fronts and rears, whenever I go over some high bumps I can hear the scrapes. I'm planning to raise the ride height some more when I get the kit.

I've got the MS sideskirts and dropped 1in with the MS springs/shocks. I have rubbed a few times, but nothing except scratching on the bottom occured, no cracking or breaking. This is only on weird triangle hump entryways, driveways.
Picture of my 8 dropped with the MS sides.
It's definitely the lowest point on the bottom of the car now. Only way to not scrape is to not lower it.

You're going to have some problems at dealerships lifting up the car... some places wont even deal with your car anymore. Otherwise it rides fine, will scrape sometimes.
Also factor in your wheels.. if it goes 19" or staying with 18"s

Surprisingly two of the dealerships had no problems getting my car up. I don't think 19 would be much more different than 18's with the right tires I think rotational diameter is the same. I could be totally off with that one though.
