"SEE THROUGH?" I pray to god you're level of exaggeration is as high as my own.
Have any of you actually ordered other fiberglass bodykits? Do you have any other companies to compare the quality to? Or is this the first?

what i meant by "see through" is that when held against the light, you could see some of the "missed" spots for the primer from the fiberglass side... I will be adding a few layers of spray on fiberglass to reinforce it.. i'll be going to the bodyshop tomorrow and fit the bumper.. hopefully it fits okay... still too early to determine if this kit is worth it.. it all depends tomorrow. wish me luck!

Does anyone know what shipping service they use ? If so , how do I track it with the tracking number ? I tried UPS , Fed ex and USPS , all came up with nothing. Anyone know what service they use ? They just sent me the tracking number , so maybe there is a delay in the system. But anyone know what shipping service they use ?

I'm hoping. I already had my body/painter commit to painting & working it the DAY I get it to him. This shipping thing is taking a HELL of a lot longer than I thought it would, though. <shrug> It's being shipped to Modern Garage, so when you're in there getting your pulleys put on, you may even see it before me. =) Are you going to have the pulleys installed with dynos by June, Guy?

Man, $799.. i'd like to get it at the $599 price.. DOH! Has anyone here have it installed yet? How much modification did it require? Does it come w/ brackets? Oh, and where can I get some "spray-on" fiberglass?

My suggestion: If you willing to wait 3-4 weeks for the kit to arrive, and about 1-2 weeks for polish and paint job, and accept the fact that the kit will be easily cracked, then it may be right for you.

I received mine yesterday, and although not entirely thrilled with the time it took to arrive, I have to COMPLETELY disagree with others comments that this is a low quality, "you get what you pay for" fiberglass kit. I've owned 3 fiberglass kits in the past, and I must say this is probably the highest quality kit I've had (other kits including GroundDesigns2000 BW kit & others)....The kit is decently thick fiberglass, and seems to be very strong. The mold seems to be good, I'll be test-fitting it tomorrow and starting on the body work, which is going to be much less than I have had to do in the past (including corvette parts, etc.). This kit is a viable aftermarket option to purchasing the original plastic version, and I plan to put a custom clear bra on the front bumper so there won't be any chipping.
I'm a happy customer. =)
