My Bodykit install/paint **UPDATE**

I had a bad experience with a body shop awhile back. You may be familiar - https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-exterior-appearance-body-kits-27/my-bodykit-install-paint-193312/

Anyhow Its pretty much all fixed now. There are a few minor paint fixes that still need to be done..but thats about it.

lookin' good!
The fitment on the front bumper looks really tight around the side markers so be really careful when removing the bumper as the fiberglass can crack easily.

the 40th anniversary wheels look good on the OEM body style but with your new look, they just appear even more sunken in which means now you have the PERFECT excuse to go buy some aftermarkets.

Also, if you get an aftermarket exhaust down the road, you'll want to think about extending the exhaust tips out a bit or risk possibly melting that gorgeous rear bumper.

Looks really well done.
Maybe extend/enlarge your exhaust and space the wheels out a bit.

Tails are smoked, so are side markers. Ive had S-techs installed for a while now.

Damn Jedi, seems like you've been reading my mind.

I've got a few wheels in mind, just trying to figure the right offset . 38, 40 maybe. What do you guys think?

Im feelin' ya on the exhaust extension too. I'm probably going with Racing beat.

The sideskirts do look awesome! I hope you never have to remove either of your front fenders tho! Also vehicles arent sent from the factory with body parts molded together because as a vehicle travels over uneven terrain the whole body flexes and moves so keep a close eye on the edges of where the skirts are molded for cracks...

Dude! I just realized you're in hampton Roads. We really need to meet up so I can take a look at your car if you don't mind, hopefully ordering at least the Vertex front and sides this week if they are still available.

Frosty:
(according to my very well placed sources)
Vertex USA has a large container of products arriving any day now so you should be able to order a few parts from them if you want.
take a look at their website and see if there are any authorized dealers out where you live as that might save you a bit on shipping.

This is good news - I've been meticulously keeping track as I recently got into an accident and have been in touch with someone at Vertex-USA. He said currently they only have one bumper available, and it was of two RX8 Lang front ends that arrived last week. But I havn't been in touch since last Friday.

I'm about to check up again though and see what they have and if they still have it

loving the molded skirts.

you will regret anything greater than a +35 offset.

18x8 +35 and BELOW. same for 18x9.

my rims are 18x8 +35, and im considering 5mm spacers. especially in the rear.

i'd say 18x8 +30 front, 18x8 +25 rear is probably pretty damn flush.
