My Evo-R CF fender vents and review
So even though I've read through the few threads that have had people saying pretty bad things about these vents, I decide meh, what could possibly go wrong?
The overall quality of the vents are decent and look great. I didn't have too many problems installing them, aside from the constant worry of them popping off " it is held on by 3m double sided tape." I did however, had to break off some of the metal tabs for them to fit " probably due to my custom mesh job, which caused them to bulge out abit. I used ALOT of JB weld lol "
One big complaint that I do have is that the mesh weren't really secure. The glue that was used was very off putting. So i popped em off " which took some effort. " and JB-weld on my own painted mesh I got from ebay.
Now after a few weeks of driving around with them on, I can definitely say that I have no worries of them falling off. I'll probably bond-o the back part of it for extra security, but overall its not budging from its seat.
One tip is to use a heat gun when you are putting these on. Take a look at my last picture, notice how the OEM vents kinda curve inward towards the top. If you don't use a heat gun, the 3m tape will start to peel.
I'll take some more pictures later but these should give you a clue of how they look for now.

Thanks everybody. I'll admit the vents aren't perfect. I know they are replicas, so some work is needed. Mugatu, I'm assuming your talking about the driver side vents? In my defense I took that picture before I took a heat gun to them. Hence the little gap at the top lol.
