These are 4 chip LEDs. I have not heard of 6 chip modules, I bet they are awesome.

Here is an example of what I am talking about the top face of this bulb has three of the chip LEDs (6 on each chip):

Those bulbs give off a wide viewing angle and are hella bright.

I emailed the seller. He replyed... "Sorry it was a mistake we gonna send you one shortly please contact me tomorow at XXX XXX XXXX Thanks"

If he lets me keep the extra tail light, I plan on baking it in the oven to see if that will help open it.

4 years to Supercharge, those are not what I was thinking of, thanks for the photo. The LED's I have are single modules with four diodes in them.

Spoke to the seller today. There are going to send me the passengers side. Meanwhile, I'll start on the drivers side.

Good luck with the baking if you get the extra one for a good price.

Do you have a plan of attack for the one you aren't baking?

The seller is faxing me a shipping label to return the one tail light. Then they will mail the replacement.

I'm not sure how I'm going to get the light open. I guess I'll just cut the back.

That is unless someone has an extra broken/flooded tail light that I can try baking?

I saw the aftermath of attempting numerous times to bake the tail light and it didn't yield much.

I wonder if a heat gun on low could do better.

The glue didn't let loose and the tail light was damaged in the process of attempting to pry the two pieces apart.

I think baking was done 3 or 4 times.

That said, I don't discourage anyone from trying because it was only attempted on one tail light. It could have had super out of the ordinary adhesion job done with what ever keeps the clear cover stuck to the rear back section that the bulbs mount to.

Oye! I'd like to see a picture of that.

I don't think the tail light melted but it was close.

Only downside I see is it has potential to collect moisture.

I am having my tail lights replaced because of the unsightly moisture inside of it.

Mid-day update:

Painted the PC board red:

Drew two circles. 2 inches and 3 inches wide.

Test placing the leds on the back side of the pc board.
