Did you by the resistor, too? The bulbs alone don't have enough resistance (if they are used for turn signals).

just out of curiosity why isn't anyone just using xenon or super white incandesant bulbs? I put all xenon super white bulbs in my interior and it seems fine to me. I didn't go with LED's cuz I wanted the lights to still dim and I didn't want to deal with them burning out quickly. I haven't put the parking lights in yet, but I'm probably going to use the super white incandesant bulbs I got for those. I ordered everything from autolumination too and haven't had any problems.

Yup, but be careful to get the right ones. They come in White/White, Blue/White, or Blue/Blue

I would recommend the white/white one.

Also, be careful of the ebay sellers. I got burnt once buying the PIAAs on there.

I too have had mixed results with autolumination. I've got a box with about 4 or 5 pairs of LEDs that I bought and didn't like. Mainly that the color of the lights don't match. two identical LEDs may (and most often do) have slightly different colors (all white, but with slight hue of blue, green, or purple). I'm currently running Autolumination's super bright white LEDs for my parking lights, but they are a little too blue for my taste. Check these out though:

http://www.car-gym.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=22_50

I actually bought a pair of the Xtreme Force quad LEDs with my Xtreme Force H11's and am not happy with them (they are very blue). Check out the PIAA Tera 4500K LEDs though, those look pretty good. I'm thinking of getting them. They require a resistor even if you are not using them as a turn signal. I did a google image search for "PIAA tera" and found some pics of them in use and they seem really bright and really white. Might be the way to go. Spendy though.

By the way, the PIAA LEDs on the page I linked above aren't the same as the dim PIAA LEDs available here in the US. The one's here have 2 LEDs, these have 4 or 6.

I have LEDs in my interior (on the ceiling and door panels) and they dim just fine...

Do other people have interior LEDs that do not dim?

i have them on the interior usually they seem like they are dimming... its not a true dimming effect.
I really doubt your LEDs can dim. It kind of contradicts how the LED works in the first place.

superbrightleds.com

they let you return ones that don't match and they replace them.

Well I don't know how else to explain it, but they slowly fade from ON to OFF... how are you defining "dimming"?

i've gone through way too many led's from autoillumination. my car has led's from them in every possible spot a 194 will fit. but, i'm tired of having to change them out. the last time i ordered from them i went ahead & ordered extra for backups... good thing i did. it seems like i have to change one just about every month. it's too much of a hassle if u ask me. anyone else w/ led's have this problem? what would be the ABSOLUTE BEST super white incandescent bulb if i were to switch???

The US market PIAAs only have 2 LEDs per bulb and really aren't very bright. If you are willing to spend the extra money get the JDM 6 LED PIAAs.

...or, the same seller also sells an 8 LED Raybrig bulb for the same price. I have these in my parking lights and really like them. They are 5000K, so they are closer to white and less of a cheesy blue like the cheap autolumination bulbs. They are very bright too.

I haven't had these bulbs for very long, so I can't vouch for longevity, but they look good. The seller ships from Hong Kong so it takes a few weeks, but it's worth the wait. I purchased my PIAA Xtreme Force H11 fog bulbs from the same seller.
