Need opinion on headlight/taillight tint.
hey everyone. i have a silver 8 and im going tomorrow to get my car tinted and get the calipers painted and also getting the cars headlights and tail lights smoked out..
i just need an opinion if that would look good i just got my 8 about 2 months ago and i want it silver and black so do you guys suggest smoking out the headlights and tail lights and i was thinking black or red calipers but idk just a little confused here!
POST some ideas! thanks!

km, I would vote for only a VERY light smoke on the headlight - more than anything to keep the weathering from getting to them and keep road rash to a minimum. In fact, I wouldn't even get tint, I would just use clear film.
As for the taillights, I think it looks OK on silver. It's not OMG awesome, but it looks OK, so if you like smoked tails, go for it.
Personally, I think red calipers is a bit played out for the most part, especially for an OEM caliper. I did mine in black, but a lot of people find black to be too boring. If I was you, I would consider maybe yellow or gold instead, just to be a little different. It depends on what you're going for too. If you just want to get rid of the iron look, go with black. But if you want it to be flashy, get gold or yellow.
Just my $.02.

Were u planning to have someone paint your calipers? thats what it sounds like from above....personally I like to leave the headlights/tailights alone but thats just me....as far as calipers I would prolly try to match it with your rims depedning if you have aftermarket ones....I plan on painting mine gold for my car....

The tail lights look awesome.
Click on that and check em out. i think they look great.
and im getting the calipers painted red, because the rims are getting are black W/ red lip, and i want them to match with the lip color of the rims.
and i didnt do the headlight, ill go with your idea and get the film.

You can always open them up and paint the housing black inside instead of tinting them. I like the taillights tinted on our cars, i have the spider bulbs in and look really good with blacked out taillights.... head turners. as for headlights, they look really good stock but i tinted mines cuz i couldn't get rid of the haze on them but turned out nice.
