Need Opinions!

Hey guys! Kinda new here...been stalking the forums for a while now but never posted. I need your opinions on a few things!

1) So I'm wanting to order new Headlights, Fogs, and Parking lights...Where should I buy them from? I'm kinda cheapish so I don't want to spend a ton of money if I don't have to...I know V-Leds but they're pretty expensive...If I HAVE to order from them I will but I figured you guys would know some other places I could get them from for a little less.

2) I want to black out my tail lights but I can't find any covers...Anyone know where I can get some? Or do I have to buy film or get them painted?

3) Different side markers...I'm wanting to get some black or white corners and I'm gonna order them from rotaryfx I think...do I need to buy different lights to put in there? Are the ones in there now Amber or Yellow?

I did search but there's SO many threads it's a little over whelming for a newbie...

Thanks in advance!

1. V-leds really are the best option for lights, they're not cheap if you get the high end / hi-power lights but they last much longer then other companies out there. Trust me, I tried using other brands and it only led to spending more money and constantly replacing bulbs only to end up eventually replacing EVERYTHING with v-leds. (which is what I have now and am happy )

2. I haven't seen any decent covers for the lights, the usual route is to buy film and Do It Yourself or to have a shop apply a very light paint. I'm sure some tint stores could also do it but not sure what that would cost you

3. rotaryfx has some or you can get the JDM clear corners that are a bit more popular. The bulb is amber, you can replace it with another bulb or any 194 size led. I'd recommend LED personally as it'll look better.

hope that helps.

Wow, Thanks a lot! You covered everything! I figured I should go V-Led since I'll be saving money in the long run...and do you (or anyone) know if film is very hard to put on? I though I heard somewhere it was...

yes, please don't title all of your threads the same.
Also, learn to use the search function, located near the top of the forum, just under the RX8Club.com banner.
Or, click the google link in my sig for a more efficient way to navigate the club
