Hey guys, i just bought an '06 copper red MT Shinka :-) I think over the last 3 weeks i've read about 60% of these forums lol. Anyway a day or two after I bought the car I realized that my passenger side fog light had busted glass. Mazda was of course extremely expensive so I picked one up off of ebay for $50. The only problem with all of this is that the new light I bought has sortof a multi-colored tint... that none of the rest of the lenses have. Should I just try to find another one that's clear or is there some way to remove the tint? Or i could get another tinted fog to match but i think i'd rather have the clear ones. Thoughts?

I have the multi colored tint. In my opinion they look way better than the clear which I had. My advice get another multi-tint off ebay. I paid about 50 for the pair though... Check my flickr for pics. The link is in my SIG...

Where can you buy the tint from !? I want it

I've had them for 4+ years, they rock.

 

The multi tint and blue tint fogs were options from Mazda that probably didn't sell very well so now you can get them for bargain prices. Check eBay. The clear lenses are not selling for cheap. If you aren't crazy about the looks of the multi tint, get a pair of the blue tinted ones, they just have a very light blue tint to the lense.

Thanks !!! But is it possible to buy just the lense. I dont really wanna have to switch fog lights which is probably a pain in the *** to do.

 

No its not possible, its easy to replace them anyways
