Need some opinions/pictures

Hope I don't **** anyone off, but I'm a new user and didn't know where I should post this question. Move to wherever Admin........if you need to.

I'm looking for opinions.............if money was no object, what would be my next mod for either an apperance or performance standpoint? To answer that, you have to know what I have already.

2005 6-sp Titanium Gray with:
Grand Touring and Appearance package........ including Leather, Short Throw Shifter, Sports Tuned Suspension, Front Air dam(stock), Aero flares(stock), Rear Wing(stock...don't need any other). 6-CD Bose sound system(is adequate), no NAV(and don't need it).

Here's the mods I've personally done to this point:

Revi Intake with Ram Air Duct
Alarm Shock Sensor
RB Car-Back Exhaust
A/C, oil, and radiator screens
Clear side markers with Stealth bulbs
Turn signal Stealth bulbs
Interior Night Lights
Okay......I did the third brake light mod also!

Here's what I'm thinking, but would like opinions:

Big Brake Kit(curved open slot)
Enkei FRP1 19" x 9.5" x 45mm offset (please post any pictures of Tit. Gray with ANY aftermarket Wheels as I'm really not sure whay I like.)
ECM reflash
RB type I Nose kit, but am think MazdaSpeed as well.
Change Aero flares to side skirts......would do that with the above.
Not sure I need to go Turbo(I don't really race or anything) but would be my best HP increase given what I have........I know I can't probably tackle the flywheel
, so I'd have to go to a shop and don't have one(any good ones in Melbourne, Fla.?)

Thanks for taking the time............what's my biggest bang for the buck(either appearance or performance).......let me know what you'd do?

Dave

Would like to ask anyone with Tit. Gray with non-stock wheels to post a picture here as I'm really undecided about what looks good.

Big Brake Kit(curved open slot)- too expensive just for looks. especially if you dont trace your car
Enkei FRP1 19" x 9.5" x 45mm offset (please post any pictures of Tit. Gray with ANY aftermarket Wheels as I'm really not sure whay I like.)-wheels are always a great way to change your look.
ECM reflash- the RB reflash is highly recomended if you can drive something else the few days
RB type I Nose kit, but am think MazdaSpeed as well.- other than the Rb kit in that link. try contacting Lazi. he works a company called JonDemand and can get you most every other body kit. check his subforum.
Change Aero flares to side skirts......would do that with the above. -same as above

theyre you go

Nrider pretty much got you but here's some backup:
-Big Brake kit (BBK)- only get it if you AutoX/track/race whatever. Otherwise your $2k can be used on something else. And you can still get RacingBrake slotted front and rear rotors for about $500 bucks for the set and then some Corksport braided SS brake lines for $89 bucks for all 4 lines (killer deal) and some Hawk pads and have really good street brakes
-As far as rims, the Enkeis are popular, as are SSR's, Gram Lites, BBS's, and pretty much everything else. There are a lot of rim choices, just make sure you don't go staggered or you'll hurt your handling (but if handling isn't important, go staggered). You really don't need anything wider than a 245 series on the 8 unless you race.
-The ECU reflash Racing Beat offers is a damn good deal- just under $300 bucks, raises your redline to 9300rpm, and gives you a smoother power delivery and more linear power above 5700rpms, and it really kicks after 7 grand (from what I've heard, check out the RB flash thread in the Aftermarket subforum). Sounds like it adds about 7-10hp. Otherwise you can spend a lot more money on a GReddy E-Manage Ultimate piggyback or Interceptor-X, get it professionally tuned and dynoed, make some more power, but you're looking at around $800 with tuning for the E-Manage and over $1600 for the Interceptor with tuning (tuning rates vary). The best thing about those is you can adjust them if you go turbo later.
-Go with whatever body kit you want. CHeck out the exteror apperance subforum (this subforum you're in) and there is a compliation of body kits for the 8. My personal favs are the AutoExe kit and the Vertex Lang kit. The MS kit looks sweet, but I think too many people have it IMO.
-Now no one really NEEDS a turbo, but I'm sure almost everyone WANTS one!! Your best of going to Mazsport in Florida and looking at some of their kick-*** kits. They can install if for your as well. You can easily get over 300-rwhp with some of their turbos. Or you can look into ProTech Performance for a turbo, or the ever-popular GReddy turbo kit.

Thanks..........I'll be looking into Mazsport for sure.

Don't think I'll be going staggered on the wheels and as
far as wheels go, I like the ADR M-Sport , the Enkei FRP1, HP Evo Lighting in Hyper Silver, some of the SSR's, and even a few Volks...........so far.

What's going to happen to handling or anything else if I go from 18" to 19" on all four?

Still like that Big Brake Kit even though I know I don't really need it. I'll for sure be at least getting the rotors, brake lines and Hawk pads from somewhere. Anybody else make good non-drilled but slotted rotors?

Have to research that ECU reflash with RB a little bit more first, but I'm really happy with them to this point.

as far non-slotted rotors: your only other choice is really cross-drilled rotors. I personally like slotted over cross-drilled. Check out RacingBrake's rotors, or Rotora's packs. Also RX7store has a brake kit (minus calipers) for the front and rear with rotors, brake lines and pads all bundled together. Check it out: rx7store
Going from 18" to 19" wheels isn't going to do much that you will feel unless you race. Again, a street car is much different than a track car. It isn't much you'll notice unless you push your car to it's limits.

Hey.......this maybe a ridiculous question, but I'm being told that I can't go 18x9 on the rims up front(won't say any names), but is that true? I have the Grand Touring Sports package on a 2005 and when I go out and measure the width of the stock rims, I see 9".................am I that stupid and not measuring correctly?
Tires right now are 225/40/18.
I know that last question opens me up to a lot of comments, but his answer is confusing me and I'm not going to order rims from this guy if he's all wrong.
By the way.................if mine are indeed 8" width on my stock 05........what does going to 18x9 really get me if anything, and why should I or shouldn't I go 18x8 up front and 18x9 in the rear? I don't think I will ever go wider than 245 in the front and 265 in the rear.
