LEDs are nowhere near as bright as halogens and will not work in your headlights. They look cool, make good running lights, but don't give off enough light.

So I'm confused what I'd need for a complete lighting overhaul...

1. Fog Lights
2. Parking Lights
3. Corner Lights
4. Taillights
5. Center Brake Light

6. Door Lights
7. Dome Light
8. Map Lights
9. License Plate and Trunk Lights

Can anyone help me fill in the model of lights I'd need for the ones I bolded?

Also am I missing anything?

Thanks

The center brake light uses a 7440 light, unfortunately V-LEDS doesn't sell a single one, so you'll have to buy a pair (same as the taillight bulbs).

Or... you can get one of the eBay replacement lights (I have one):
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-08...=p4506.c0.m245

The map lights use the same bulb as the door lights

And, finally, the dome light:

Only $10 more than the standard LED H11... I was expecting them to be more actually. I'll do a side by side comparison when I get them in.

I installed a set of the original LED H11's on a guys car.. did you have to move the reflector inside the foglight a bit out of the way to get the LED bulb to fit?

Got my new high power H11 bulbs, they are quite a bit brighter than the standard ones, definitely worth the extry $10 if you are thinking about getting LED fogs. If you've already got the standard LED bulb I don't know if I'd upgrade unless you are hardcore like me They are probably 25% brighter and are definitely more visible at a distance during the day. You still won't be able to drive by them or anything.

They also seem more white/less blue, but the high power .5 watt white LEDs seem to color shift some after a while (white LEDs are made from blue leds with a phosphor coating which gives them the yellow look when off, the coating burns off some with the heat of the high power LEDs).

I took a bunch of pics, but honestly my cheap camera wasn't able to capture the difference in light that well. The two below captured the difference the best. I'll take some more pics with both bulbs installed tonight when it gets a little darker.

My reflectors have been removed for a while. These are the same length as the other LED fogs, which some have been able to install without removing the reflectors and some haven't.

Do I need a certain size LED Bulb for my fog lights and head lights?

I really want to get some new lights, but I do not want to order the wrong kind.

If I do need a certain size, how can I find out what size I need?
