How easy is it to install the Footwell LED's?

Also, I bought Tail Lights from V-LEDS and now everytime I apply the brake when my lights are off, it turns my running lights on until I let go of the brake. Does that happen with those Tail Lights? If it doesn't, then I am buying those right now.
Footwells aren't too hard to install, you just have to find wires to tap into. My red ones are tapped into the ashtray light.

No, that shouldn't be happening with the brakes, and it doesn't happen with mine. Which bulbs are you running, and also, which other lights are coming on with the brakes.

These are the Tail Lights I am currently using:

And the parking lights turn on and the side markers turn on as well.

I would guess that it's because they are SRCK style 7443 bulbs. Our cars just use standard 7443 bulbs. You'll want to use one of these bulbs for the taillight:

http://www.v-leds.com/7443-7440-LED/...orLanding/true

I'd recomend the 20 HP version, but if you wait a few weeks, they are coming out with an even brighter version of this on.

Man, I think we could all use an extra 20hp.

I can't wait to pull the trigger on this.

I might wait idk yet. I am just sick of the parking lights turning on everytime I brake. But I can always go for brighter lol.

Also, how did you install your parking lights? Did you take your bumper off or go through the wheel well?

If you got long fingers you can get the parking bulb assemblies in and out with a little wriggling and pain tolerance

Anyone else using/think the 6" strips are sufficient for footwell applications?

Yes, I'm using 6" strips for my footwells, and they are bright enough. I actually have two sets, white ones that come on when the doors open and red ones that are on when the lights are on.

This thread has gotten me confused...

Aipex8-

I currently have the stock HIDs. RotaryFX parking lights (white) leds, Hoen (yellow) fogs, and interior door lights, map, and dome (white) LEDs

one of the parking lights are out. I was never really impressed with any of the lights I bought from RotaryFX...they have a blu-ish tint to them.

I want white...and I want my HIDS to match. as for the Heons, I love.

I also want the interior lights (map, dome, and doors) to be white.

What do you recommend for this? Are you still using these lights for the parkings? part number: 194_4_RB_W_6K Do these match the factory HID's?

I would also like to know what bulbs you use for the tail lights...or are they the same as in the first post? the links I clicked on didnt work wich it may be because im on a Gov comp.

I don't have stock HIDs, but for those who do, I would suggest the following 5000K bulbs (these just became available, and they go fast, so order right away):

Parking lights:
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...61053-1-2.html

Side markers:
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...98419-1-2.html

For the interior, the ones that I linked to for the parking lights will also work for the map and door courtesy lights.

Dome:
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...61206-1-2.html

These are all SUPER bright. Highly recomended!

The bulbs I'm using for the taillights are the ones from the first page. They aren't in stock right now and they are replacing them with a new model which will be even brighter.

Nope, they are the yet to be released upgraded 20 LED high power bulbs. They are similar to the ones that I currently have, only brighter due to the use of some heat sinks (much like the new 194 "retina burners").

They'll look good, the LEDs will be a little bluer than the HIDs though. Get some 6000K HID bulbs

Check their Facebook page. They will be posting coupon codes there.

E936K3 is the latest one posted there, not sure if it's still good.
