Alright so i prevailed I guess... Both pieces are out but it wasnt easy. The second attempt was much more successful with the use of my dremel. The only problem is they are both pretty scratched up. Does anyone know where to just get the glass part not the whole assembly?

You won't be able to find just the glass. If they are actually scratched that badly, you'll have to replace the whole housing.

New 194 Bulbs

Today i recieved my new 194 leds for my courtesy lights and........One is awsome and the other is about half on. I just emailed them hope to get a replacement for it. Out of my new h11 leds one 1 of them fits so im pretty much on a roll. Im hoping to get another on of them to. To top it all off my 16 led dome light that I bought is more aqua and doesnt match the courtesy light. Is that Strike 3?

Moved my pics over here as to not clutter up your thread too much.
Includes night time shots.

Two questions.....Do your D2S's flicker just a pinch when you first turn on your headlights?
Do you think it's possible to put what I will call the plastic cover allowing access to the headlights on too tight?

Yeah, I'm running V-leds there as well, but not the same type as you. Kinda don't like that star-ish looking pattern so much, so I just have these(see attached). Think they are the 18 SMT LED single design. It's been so long, I don't remember.

Georx8..............you got a night shot from a little further away?

Yeah, please do when time.........I might like it from further away, it might just be the close-ups that are throwing me into the "not so sure" camp.

Mine do flicker a bit, and I don't think it's possible to put the plastic cap on too tight.

question:

why is it when you change the turn signal light with led, the blinking becomes faster?

Not enough current draw from LEDs to activate the flasher unit correctly as it was never designed for LEDs. You need about 2 amps draw/bulb. So you add resistors in PARALLEL (correction) to the LED lamp to increase current draw.

Thank you for your reply.

If choose not to put resistor on it, will it damage the flasher unit?

one more thing...

i think mine doesn't have provision for the lights "under" the compartment box and for the pedals , do i need to hotwire an LED strip to have it working?

with led brake lights do they work perfectly fine when braking or do you need resistors too?? also how do you unfold the spider arms when they are in the socket

Okay, Aipex. Give me a hand here.

I want red LEDs to replace my dome lights and courtesy lights, but the bulb codes are confusing me and it's driving me nuts.

I think I may have found the right bulb for the dome lights, but I have no idea for the courtesys:

I'd appreciate the help.

the bulb code you picked is correct DE3175, not sure if that will fit in the dome though, measure the space in the dome space and compare it to the specs on the vleds site

courtesies are size 194
