Quick question... please excuse my HID noobiness:

Got these just today. This was all that I was expecting, however, another user (paiman.soror, further up the page) got something like this when he received his HIDs:

Am I missing something? I bought these HIDs assuming that they'd just pop right in and replace the stock ones. Do they? I feel like I just did something stupid...
Anyway, I got my running light LEDs as well and I'm gonna try installing those later tonight by going through the wheel well.

No that is all you need. The only reason you need all that harness is if you don't currently have HID lights. Be careful with the clips inside the headlight housing when you replace them. They can be a bit tricky.

Guess I should figure out how to return these. Maybe I should just buy the harness since I already have these? I would imagine the harness is crazy expensive, though... didn't really plan on spending $100 on lights.
Also, are there any LED alternatives to the stock halogen headlights? Am I stuck with these crappy lights unless I upgrade to HIDs?

I have a base model that didn't come with HIDs. Guess that means I can't use these? Ugh...

Installed my running lights a few hours ago!
I got the right side in through the fender, and thought I would be able to do the same with the left side, but NOPE, some stupid thing in the engine bay made it impossible. So, after a while I worked up the nerve to take my front bumper off for the first time. It was much, much easier than I thought it would be and I can finally rest knowing that I can take it off and put it back on whenever I need to in the future.

5K super-eyezorching LEDs
Be aware that these are just STUPID bright for interior use. I ordered a pair of red ones, and I can only use the passenger light at night - the driver's side is blinding.
Pretty cool.
And as for parking lights, they turn them into functional lighting. Not enough to see by, but enough to be seen by. From far away. Seriously.
Oh - and I put them in from above, without removing the bumper. It requires long fingers. Borrow a set if you don't have them. My son's worked perfectly.

Aipex, could you, or anyone else really, direct me to the right HID conversion kit to match my running LEDs? I think 6000k is the temp that gives the slight blue tint. I'm looking at this one:
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-HID/H...25405-1-2.html
Will this work? Or is there a better conversion kit to go with? Is swapping regular bulbs with HIDs a difficult install?

I'm sorry you are having problems, Fierce, I will take some pics of mine as soon as I get my car back. It's in the shop getting a reman installed though, so it may be another week. You could post pics of your installation, maybe I'll be able to spot the problem.

These are best installed in the rear, as there is a great spot right next to the taillight that you can install them. If you pull the trunk lining back, you'll see that there is a cavity there so nothing heat sensitive will be close to them.
