I believe stock HIDs are 4300K so 5000k wouldn't be too too much different. Just a tad less yellow hue and a bit more white if that makes sense.

Thats basically what im after. I wanna do 5k HIDs with 6k parking lights and 6k fogs as well. I think it should look hot.

May I ask why 5000k for the headlights? Everything will match if you purchase all the same bulb temp such as 6000k.

Actually in the pic that he posted those look like 6K Hid's with 8k parking lights. In daylight camera's capture 6K's as bright white instead of their bluish hue.

Depends what you are looking for. I have 6K's and honestly, i think next time I am going to step up to 8K so that I can get a tad bit more blue.

They aren't actually sold out, they changed their site a bit and the link was broken. Here is the new link:

Note: You have to choose which color you want, and it defaults to 5000K. So if you are looking for the same bulbs I have, change the color to 6000K Diamond Blue.

Yea I know if I get all 6k that everything will match but that's not what I want. I want my HIDs to be slightly whiter than my parking lights.
I basically want white HIDs (possibly 5k) and everything else (parking lights, fogs. Corners) 6k.

My goal is basically the pic above. Any advice as to which colour temp bulbs will give me that look ? Any help aipex8?

Thanks Apexi, just to confirm that the light bulbs that you recommended is all are plug and play right? I already have stock HID lights.

Yess i found the car where i found the pic from ! Took about an hour of searching but i found it.

Another quick question that I'm wondering if the LED footwell lights comes with the wiring? Im debating if i should get the 12inch and cut it into for my passenger and driver side or just getting 2 6inch strips.

I recently did my foot well lights as well as under the seats and you just want to get 2 6 in strips you dont really want do have to cut it. And to the other question you asked is the http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-HID/D...25430-1-2.html D2S bulb is all you need if your car has factory installed HID lights.

Wait, you cant take a 12 inch and cut it in half and use it on each side since the leads are only on one end. If you want footwell leds you need to get 2 6". Unless you want to cut the 12" and make your own wire to connect between them.

Quick question, guys...

Is it regular for slight smoke to be visible coming out of the front of the headlight when using HIDs? I'm positive that I installed them properly. They are 6000k.

It is always smoking or just the first time you turned it on? Sometimes it is normal for it to smoke a bit as the bulb breaks in, but if it continues to smoke then the bulb might not be seated properly. What did you use for spacers?

I actually ended up buying a different set of HIDs, sold by DDM Tuning. I did not require homemade spacers as the spacers that they came with fit just fine.

They are however, the same type of bulb that I would have bought from VLEDs so there shouldn't be a difference. 35w 6000k HIDs with slim ballasts. I have not had these bulbs in for even two hours; I turned them on when it got dark and noticed that I could see a little bit of smoke coming out from the lens of each headlight. I'm starting to think that maybe the outside temperature has something to do with it? It's about 65 degrees over here right now.

They do look fantastic though. They match 100% perfectly with the running light LEDs that I got from VLEDs. I'll try to post a picture up maybe tomorrow.

Definitely smoke and not water vapor?
Both lights doing the same thing? I think I'd pull them out and look for any charring. I guess it could be just some protective coating on the bulb burning off, but I don't know if I'd want to assume that.

Really? I actually first ordered a set from ddm tuning and they didn't come with the spacers, not only that but the ballasts made some crazy *** noises at times, i just didn't trust it much. I dont think it would really be the outside temps, iirc xenon bulbs dont get as hot as halogen.
