My VVME Kit , a bulb went out and Im only sending back the bulb as my ballast are spliced into the original fog cables (smdh, my friend did that) anyway Im only sending the bulb back which I did Monday and hopefully I have something by this week

Here goes a pic of my LED's, Fog.. (One Bulb is out, I already sent back to exchange) the LEDS are my 194 6000K.. I'm still deciding if I think they are too blue, may also get some yellow 3K film tint for the fogs because they are a pale yellow in person

So as an update, they are replacing my foglight bulb.. and now I am getting some new bulbs for my parking and hi beams...

If I am not mistaken.. the hi beams bulb would be a H9 bulb right? I saw someone saying they were getting an H11 bulb for that...

Also I might get the PIAA ION Yellow Bulbs for my parking lights.. any suggestions on how brighter they are compared to my 194 6K LED?

I ordered another set of 6k flank bulbs for my side markers (194_4_HPF_W_6K), and realized when I removed the burned-out bulb, that the plastic wrapping was slightly melted. Also, some of the components looked a little scorched. These bulbs now come with heat sinks, which VLEDs have added to their other high power bulbs as well.

The only problem was that the new set is a little longer than the old ones and can't quite fit in the housing in the sidemarker. They will go in most of the way, but you can't push them in enough to lock them. So, I think they'll stay put, but I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up in case someone ordered these for the sidemarkers. I also had an issue with one of my parking light leds melting a bit (194_4_RB_W_6K), even with the heak sink. The replacements have been holding up well though. The pic below shows the old flank bulb front and of course the newer one in back.

6000k looks nice for the headlights would 8000k be too blue?

And if I already have the d2s hids in my rx8 I dont need to buy a hid conversion kit right? Just the bulbs right?

How hard is it to change the bulbs? because I hear if you mess up it can break the assembly and it would have to be replaced by mazda.

So i installed my new tail light LEDs from vleds--platinum red high power etc etc-- but they seem to be pointed slightly inward and not completely straight as seen from outside. Is this how they are supposed to be?

really nice aipex8. The engine bay lighting is a great idea! So is the duel color for the led strips inside the car.

Yes, the stock lights point in slightly, even non leds.

If you are reffering to these bulbs,

I had no problem installing them in with the jdm clear corners, then again i removed the reflector so that might be why.

I guess I never noticed that before, it's because the LEDs are longer that you can see that. They look better than stock.

Okay, so I ordered the 6 LED parking light bulbs for my mazda rx8 2004 from rotaryfx.com. I take out the stock lights and noticed that there is no way that the bulb fits the stock parking light. I dont understand how to install the parking lights because the bulb just simply doesnt fit! Help please.

if it doesn't fit with ease than you probably got the wrong one.

Are you saying the bulbs are too long, or maybe too fat to fit into the opening in the headlight housing? Or do they just not fit into the socket (ie they're not a 194 style bulb)? Also, if you could provide a link for the bulbs you bought, we could probably tell you if they are the correct ones, or not.

Here's an example of a set of LEDs that will work well for the parking lights:

Anyone know what is going on with V-LEDS? I was going to overhaul all of my lights to LEDs but all of the bulbs I see everyone on this thread getting seem to have been removed, are discontinued, or are on backorder.

Also both V-HID bulbs (Premium and regular) for 6k are out of stock and show as discontinued.

Are they coming out with newer versions of the bulbs everyone uses or are they just getting rid of them all together?

Thanks.

V-LEDs seems to go through periods where they are out of stock on a lot of their products. Also, I've tried to buy replacement bulbs from them in the past, only to find that they've discontinued the bulb. But a lot of times, they replace it with an upgraded bulb that is brighter, has a better heat sink, etc. If you haven't already, you should friend them on Facebook so you can get updates about when they restock. They usually get a bunch of stuff in all at once, and they will post when that happens.

Where do you get the 4th rotary shaped brake light? I tried finding it but I don't know what it's called. I'm also looking for the part number for the high beams.

Exclamation

It seems V-LEDs has stopped selling Hids. If anyone is planing on getting a set now is the time. Whatever is left is going for half price. Any recommendations on where else to buy Hids?
