mikeb: After the brake lines and under car braces I am having the stock rotors slotted... Then the titanium lug bolts I am having manufactured... As soon a MS releases the new brake calipers I will get a set of those... I am also working on a set of custom light (aluminum) pullies, custom made with no underdrive that will use titanium bolts, nuts and washers... Then FI, I have budgeted 5,000.00 to 7,500.00 but am willing to spend as much as 10K for the right solution...

A few other things I am tracking down...

MS High flow CAT
MS VFAD
And a few other misc items, then some more details...

cortc, if possible could you measure from your front wheel wheel to the ground and from the front lip to the ground to see how much lower to the ground I would be if I got the ms kit. I am sitting pretty low and I am worried if I order the kit I would be scrapping all over the place. I know others like mikeb have the car lowered but I am sitting about 25 3/4 from fenderwheel center to the ground in front and my stock 8 front has about 5.5 inches of clearance and I want to see how much the ms kit will lower the front. Thanks for your time.

here is a pick of a slotted brake rotor. the slots help to dissapate gas build up between the rotor-pad interface when brakeing.

you can also get cross drilled rotors, same idea, just with holes.

some folks even get both.

People have to join sometime... and they have to read all the best threads!

There should be a "Best threads" sub forum. Or like All-Star Threads or something...

I've never been a fan of the Mazdaspeed body kit.

That said, this is HANDS DOWN the best looking RX8 I've ever seen.

Perfectly done. Subtle and stunning.
