Just picked up a copper red shinka on friday, and game across this forum which i must say, is very informative...already im thinking about doing some of the things you guys did just from looking at all the great pictures. my previous car was a 350Z and i must say, im pleasantly suprised with how great this car is all around in comparison. what i am looking for, and yes, i did use the search function but to no avail, im looking for a chrome grille, or mesh inserts for the front. ive seen the mesh for the rear, but i am all about a uniform car (one thing i hated about the Z-satin door handles with chrome emblems and headlight housing)...i know im going to eventually add chrome wheels, so i wanted to stick with a chrome theme throughout.,..ive seen the side vents in chrome, as well as the rear inserts i believe....but nothing for the front. can someone direct me to a vendor who i can get this from?

Anyone in the south carolina area?
i live in PA but am going to school at USC.

Are you asking about an actual RX8 grill replacement or the radiator/oil cooler screens?

 

just the inserts..i have no desire to add on any formal kind of kits

 

if you find out any info i would be in on it. i have seen a couple, but the best in my opinion has been the $10 billet grilles found in the DIY section.

btw, i am in the same state, just in Anderson (Clemson University). nice to have you in the club, even if you are a Gamecock :P I am trying to find some time to get in that area and visit some buddies. be nice to meet up if i can ever get down that way.

 

Nice rx8 mate, you should get some side skirts though, the top picture looks a bit uneven with the large lip at the front then nothing at the sides

 

Where is this $10 Billet Grille you speak of?? Any links or further help would be appreciated!
