Just got my new shift ****, courtesy of the the Knobmeister. It's mahogany, with the rotary symbol etched into it. It matches the interior really well. I love it!

uhhhhhh....the nicest thing i can say is that it's, well, different.

 

60 bucks, engraved.

 

Very nice shift **** Tom. The Knobmeister is very well known in the Miata community and does excellent work. I had him make up the first RX-8 laser cut license plate surrounds for me

 

I think it looks great with the leather.Very tasteful IMO.

not a huge fan of the chapappy interior...but that **** compliments is nicely

 

Well, it's definitely different. I didn't realize how heavy the stock **** really is until I took it off! I would say it's a little notchier, but some shifts (like 4-5) are easier (less clumsy?). Less effort required overall, and you can shift with two or three fingers and a light touch. It took me a few days, but I decided I prefer it over the stock ****.

 

IMO it matches very well with the interior. The engraving looks good too.

No way...i don`t like it.......the RX is a SPORT CAR! Not a Limo!!!

If the **** will be in aluminium or another METAL material with the ornament (symbol) i will give 10 points for the Knobmeister!!!

The symbol is PERFECT....but woody-style????

Thanks for your comments. The **** really does fit the look of the interior. I wasn't interested in getting a metal **** that gets cold and hot. The Knobmeister can definitely do both, though!

Nice ****, especially if the color matches the tan/brown leather.

 

It would be cool to fill the engraving with something metallic also.
