Looks good Dremd911.

An inexpensive mod to make it look even better is to remove the dealership sticker from the trunk.

I'd like to see a shot of the trunk open since the spoiler hangs over the edge.

Does it come close to hitting the ends of the spoiler on the rear fenders?

Looks good but I would have sat it a little closer to the edge of the trunk. Reason being....if water ever gets under one of the bases it might go inside the trunk. My bolt holes sit just outside of the rubber trunk seal. If water gets under the base it will just go into the channels and not the trunk. Just check it after a wash or heavy rain fall to make sure your good. Congrats on the install.

Hey I can answer that one....there is plenty of room.

I think the mod looks pretty good, but for some reason it makes me feel a little "busy" as it had stated before. I don't know, either because it is too close into the trunk (somebody has stated to be slide further back; that might look better??). Another thing that came to my mind is maybe because the spoiler is just too thick? I don't know! These are just all my own personal preference, so please do not take what I said seriously! hehe!! In any case, I still like the finish product! Congradulations! =)!!!

I'm not supposed to post the ebay link but if you get on ebay and type "GTO Spoiler" you will find them towards the bottom of the page. We both got ours from seller "Spalding Auto parts." If you don't see the color you want email them and they will hook you up. They usually ship the same day and answer all emails. My SS 8 is used in their auction.

While it may look good, great, or what ever.......
The side shot that shows the wing in the rear tells the true story.

I bet you lose .4 in the quater mile with all the wind drag.

Bought mine for $100 shipped when they first started selling them. I gave the ebay info instead cause I did not want to mislead anyone. They are a little higher now.

Well I didn't have any problems according to my 14.5 & 14.6 quarter mile G-Tech runs.

I did'nt want to read the whole thread but will this spolier cover the factory spoiler holes or will I have to get them filled? What material is this spoiler made of? It's not soft to the touch on any part of it, is it?

If the factory holes are close to the outer edges of the trunk it may cover them. I'm not sure about the material but the spoiler is pretty solid in my opinion...does has some flex like most spoilers do.

Do you have any close ups of the mounting points of your new spoiler? Thanks.
