I took the vent covers off, but I'm leaving the meshes how they are, I like the look, it matches my strakes . But!! It wasn't too expensive, I think it was $850+shipping. I live in Canada so it was about $100 to ship here, but yeah.. I love it, have gotten alot of double takes around my place

It took about 35 minutes with the help of one friend. Two people is OPTIMAL because both people need to hold the hood with their head while they use a ratchet. ALSO I didn't have the correct bit piece for the bolts that came with the hood, so it took abit longer... The bolts are somewhere between 9 and 10mm.... JUST UNDER 10mm.. But I'm sure it helps cooling quite abit. Every time you stop at a light you can see the heat waves coming out of the vents.

you may have to do some adjustment all depending on fitment. my seibon was spot on and I did not have to adjust (the hood at least, the trunk is a different story).
Anyways its only four bolts but its handy to have a second person just to help hold the hood because of the awkward size.

no its not mounted with hood pins, it uses the stock mounting system and does not have any further reason to "catch" wind and break away than the stock hood (which is a light aluminum hood and really does not weigh that much more)
hood pins are designed to replace a stock latching system that way you can easily unpin the hood and take it completely off without really any effort. It is most likely that you will never have a reason to do this.

Yep unpackaged the hood, switched out the factory hood latch and bolted her right up. The hood closed down too far so I put 3 washers on each bolt under the latch on the hood a voila! Fits great! I'm heading to Import Face-Off in K.C. this weekend so I guess that'll be the speed test on the hood to see if going 100 will snap it loose and cause it fly up...
