oem appearance package removal
I'm still in the market for an rx8 and the only one that I found that fits the bill also has an apperance package. I don't think I like the looks of the appearance package - personally... Having owned an aerokit carrera and an mtech bmw, perhaps I'm out of that phase
I do like the rear spoiler and side strakes though.
Do you think it can be removed easily and without any marks? Hey if the car works out perhaps I can even sell it.

Shouldn't be too hard to remove. Just a few screws here and there. I've got everything but the side aero flares. I opted instead to go with the front and rear splash guards instead. And I'm glad I did.

my guess would be the rear fender accents. the ones that interfere with your splash gaurds.....

Thanks for responses - do you think those holes are going to be in noticeable places? Say in the front bumper if they are underneath then it probably doesn't matter. The rear bits you guys say are stick on so it's down to the side flares... If the holes are not normally noticeable (i.e. while standing up next to car) I may indeed consider this car. Unfortunately the dealer is not being helpful about this and I'm kind of far from him to begin with.

COME ON ... IM SURE THERES MORE THAN ONE 8 IN YOUR DEALERSHIPS, AND YOU CAN ALWAYS ORDER ONE... OR IS IT A USED RX8...
BESIDE IF YOU HAD THOSE OTHER CARS YOU SHOULD HAVE SOME MONEY TO GET MAZDASPEED SIDE AND KEEP THE OEM FRONT AND REAR KIT ON... THAT IS ONE HOT COMBO...IMO

To the other responder, feel free to look for equ on bimmerfest and rennlist - you might catch a pic of the cars. I prefer the stock look of the rx-8, cleaner lines in my IMO.
