OEM Fog Light Switch
I recently installed a set of used OEM Foglights. Unfortanutely, I didnt have or know about this switch until the lights didnt turn on. Does anyone have a picture or part number to reference this to so I can contact the seller of the product to send me that part? Id really appreciate any help!
Thanks in advance,

I bought them from one of the members on the forum. He said that everything was included, although he accidentally looked over this switch. Yes, the dealer could sell me one for 60$ plus shipping, but that would defeat the purpose of buying it much cheaper. If anyone could show me a picture or a part number I would appreciate so I could send the member the information.
Thanks again guys!

Seriously.. FML..
You can rewire the fogs to turn on with your lights.. As they all turn on with one switch..
I recently just installed some new fogs, I did get the new switcher though..

The stalk I am assuming is the thing you you turn to put the lights on? SO then it wouldn't be possible to swap them out long distance? Is it possible to make it so I don't need a new switch at all?
Thanks again,

Ha^ and I thought I was getting a good deal! I would buy those before I would buy a switch for 60$! It doesn't look OEM though. If you look at the bottom of the fogs there are indentations with words/letters. I don't remember my OEMs having them.

There are sets on ebay where they actually sell the fogs with the stalk.
For Example, this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-05...spagenameZWDVW

Those are nice. Dual colors!

Also is there a harness on the RX8 already from the dealer or did you have to run new wire to everything.
Thanks

I got mine from a different place and cheaper. Brand new, OEM parts. They have blue and multitint (what I got). Better price, too. Good guys to deal with. I was just swapping my clears for the multitints, so I was wired. I believe that base, non-Sport models are wired but need the steering column stalk changed, but not 100% sure.

Are those ebay fogs a good amber color when used? I much prefer to have amber fogs and the price seems ok for even upgrading a car that comes with fogs.
Is the coating the type that is blue on the fringes?

I did see the "good guys" post, BigRed - thank you, sir.
The multi-tint fogs are yellow at night, but not as much as most straight amber fogs are. They are also more yellow than the muddy white color of the clear fogs. When off, they are a mixture of the blue and yellow; how much depends on viewing angle. Mine generally look more blue than yellow unlit. I don't have a night shot.

The wires and everything is ready for any fog light install. You just need to change the light switcher and you're good.
