i would say that it depends on where you go and how good you want the paint job to look. the harder the paint job the more it will cost

2 to 3 isnt that much for a quality paint job. You might find someone who would do it for less but it would look pretty horrible.

1 tone paint jobs will cost around 3k, but don't expect a 2 tone or fade done nicely for that price.

Hey guys

Hey guys I have a quick question, How much would a paint job be to do something like, a PICTURE, a crazy picture on the front of the hood, Like because heres the deal, I have a bright Yellow Rx-8, and I know my mom wants me to take it to cancer awareness places and stuff like that, so for the paint job I wanted to do like a scene.

The scene I'm looking at is like a dragon over looking the ocean on top of a cliff, and into the sea, and in the sea I want it to reflect the words Live strong, Now if a 2 tone paint job is gonna be 2 grand, i dunno how much that would be, Is there anyway to get stuff done like pro bono??? Do people do that? I have no clue about this

I`ve had three different body shops quote three different prices 2500/ 3500/6500. All without changing color just adding ghost images under a couple coats of clear.

i got qutoed for a 1500 flat black job with sealer ( not clear) and 2500 for paint to white water pearl from nordic green. I chose to go the route of prepping myself and getting a buddy to paint it with me for 250 bucks plus paint and material. Just a lot of sanding work and taping involved. The paint was about 500 and materials about 100 so im looking at roughly 900 for the job plus my prepping.

problem with Matte black is, you wont be able to keep it from polishing, the surface will eventually turn smooth and leave polished spots on the paint. it will look like total *** after a while, unless you do not plan to drive the car.
