Painted Suicide Door
So I was thinking about painting VR's suicide doors black, kinda like how the Audi R8 does it. I'll probably leave the area above the window red though, just to line up better with the rest of the car. Does it look too... "I replaced my door because of an accident" or would that not even matter since most people don't even know that's a door to begin with
Couldnt find any pictures of anyone who has done this before soooo here my quick photoshop
I dont know. What do you guys think?
EDIT: More photoshopping around
I found myself with access to a paint shop, sooo I really want to try something, suggestions?

Woah jeez, if that's the only person who's done this, no wonder i couldn't find anything. Well I'm looking to try something dual toned, just not the usual top / bottom thing, not too big a fan of that. I just remember seeing an R8 and wondering if i could do something like that. Any ideas on how I could do that without looking like i parted out my doors (dont think the unpainted top shows that well enough). Oh and I would tint the rear windows should be tinted, it's still very clear in the picture.

The fact that your car is stock otherwise does make it look strange. I've seen the rear doors in carbon fiber and I, personally, think it looks bad ***! BUT, painting the doors black just makes me think "I like that carbon fiber look, but I can't afford it. Lemme just paint it!!" No...not the same.

and this HAS been done before as well, depends on the color of the car and how wildly modded it was that determined the level of success in pulling off the look

Looks like you guys really dont dig vertical line set ups all together, wide line or not
Do you have any pictures from those cars, cause this is kinda just step one, not sure what I'm aiming for as a whole quite yet though

Yupyup, my autocross skills are still awful, and I haven't even tried track days yet. So there's still plenty to learn before I really benefit from any sort of performance mods. In the mean time, I figure I can do appearance things first.
