Painting The Hood!

Painting The Hood!
So I did a brief search on this, couldn't find anything. Since I'm blacking out the rear end of my car (black emblems, taillights and lip) I was thinking about painting the U, type thing at the end of the hood black. Kind of like what BUNIQUE did but vice versa. Keeping hood silver but painting the U indent black. Has anyone done this or knows anyone that did this? If so, how did it look. And is you were to do it, would you have it professionally done or is this something you think is do-able to paint on your own? If anyone needs a photoshop demonstration of exactly what I mean, let me know, I'll post a picture on the RX8 I got the idea from though.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Custom sign shops should do it and as far as the price goes you should only be looking at around 50 dollars or so.
And the best part about doing it in vinyl a that if you end up not liking it a high power hair dryer will take it right off for you... Cheap, removable and looks good, I'd go this route
