Painting the inside of the headlights?

Hello everyone,

I found this thread and I fell in love with the idea

Now my question is, how can I take off the plastic cover without harming it? because I unscrewed the screws, but it seemed to be glued or something.

and how about the paint, where can I find a good one that won't have any problems with color matching?

Any further tips are welcomed

take ur headlight assembly, and put it on a pan in your oven.. 220F for about 10 mins and they should start to peel at the glue. or, you can try the blowdryer on hot. which i will tell you, will either take forever or not work at all. i chose the blowdryer as the pair of headlights i was working on werent spares or my own, and i wasnt paying to replace them.

Good, I tried the blowdryer, nothing happened
I wanted to place it in the oven though, but I couldn't remove the HID unit, I didn't know how, and I didn't want to cut any wire or something

any tips how to remove it?

the bulbs get just as hot, or hotter when they are on for long periods of time. i may be wrong but i would tend to think that it would be just fine.
