Painting my OEM rims! Your Opinion!

I have a Ti gray rx8 so i want to paint my OEM rims but still torn on what color scheme
I havent decided whether to powdercoat them or paint them, but here are the options

Gray car..... I would go with a glossy black. ... or GB with the red lip.

Are you going to be painting/powdercoating, or are you taking it somewhere to get it done?

still unsure which painting or powdercoating and yes i am taking it to a professional shop. I wasnt sure if the red lips would make the car looks ricey

The OEM rims are too thick to go with a red lip IMO there is no real destinguished lip that can be pointed out be accenting it red...

i don't really like the look of painted/powdercoated stockers but if you have to do it, i would not put a different color lip and would powdercoat it flat black. gunmetal grey isn't going to stand out compared to the regular stockers so why spend the money?

i kinda like the look of the stockers powdercoated, especially black
yea i would like it to stand out a bit more

I say go flat black, I do like the stock rims and a good flat black will def stand out compared to the other stockers

hmm so should i powdercoat them or paint them?
i've seen sucess with paints, but also heard they can chip easily

I seen someone on here a couple weeks ago paint them black himself, they looked great but I could also see them chipping easily so I say go get them powdercoated.

Yea i just called a local store near me, and they quoted 250 A WHEEL!!!
soo i might need to find another store. Any1 kknow a store here in southwest FL? may b miami?
