Painting Rear Bumper? UPDATE

Anyone with a sunlight silver 8 paint the lower half (the black parts) the body color. I have only found two rear bumpers that I like and one being the Autoexe and the other being the Buddy Club. But then I thougt why not paint the entire rear bumper the same color and I think I would be happy. If any one has please post or direct me to pics. Also did you have any problem in the prep for paint?

Thanks for any help.

Sorry for the crappy pic but it has just been crappy here in NJ.

The VR one that was mentioned is owned by someone in Asia somewhere, I believe. It does look really sharp. I took mine to a shop and got a quote for about $350 to prep and paint it. If I did it, I think I would have them paint the black plastic on the mirrors to match as well.

I got quoted $300 to have the rear bumper painted to match the car.

FYI, I am having the buddy club front bumper and side skirts installed. I almost got the full kit until they distributer called me back to make sure I knew I would have to remove the rear reinforcement for the buddy club rear bumper to fit. I didn't want to do that so I just got the front and sides and will probably get the rear painted to match the car when I have a spoiler installed.

Crisis, I kind of lucked out. Some one rearended me so the cost was added into the repair. Do you still have your front bumper? If so what color, condition, and are you selling it?

My car is Whitewater Pearl. I'm goign to be picking up the bumper in few days when I pick up my car. There is a small scratch on the factory bumper that they are going to work on too, so it can be more sellable. Here's the link to the thread where I'm tyring to sell the bumper.
