you change them out

go look for some 194s that match. it'll be hard to find an exact color match though. and you'll probably have to experiment in that sense.

Cool

You can install your new bulbs fairly easily, from the engine compartment - nothing to unscrew or unbolt.

The bulbs enter the housings from the side, not the back, so take off the fusebox lid and slip your hand in - you'll feel the bulb holder. A quick twist and change the bulb. Make sure the bulb is well seated before you put it back - you don't want to have the bulb fall out into the housing (the only way to get it out is to pick the car up and shake it, hood end up! )

If your hands are 'petite' you can do the passenger side this way too, if you have huge mitts you can give yourself more room by taking the computer lid off.

yup, my hands are small and it's a very tight fit on the passenger side. using only my pointer and index fingers to tighten it.

the 2004 bulb lighting should be the same as the 2007 lighting specs. the rx8strakes map lights should work as long as they're 194 bulbs and not just 194 bulb holders. contact them just for assurance since they don't show pictures of the bulbs themselves.

I have the 5 LED Refractor style 194's in my parking lights, there a little more blue than my HID's but they are the closest i could have gotten.
