you gotta stop with putting the R-E-N-E-S-I-S letters everywhere on your car. It doesn't look good on the engine cover, and it looks even worse on the pics you posted of the back of your car.

 

Hey man good job! It looks 10X better than stock. I think it would pretty cool if you had LEDs under the cover.

Actually, you are completely wrong about his car. He posted a thread specifically on how he put that lettering on the back of his car. Do the research before you post, OK?

 

the renesis emblem that i put on the back of the car was only there for about five minutes, in the picture I had the emblem taped on just to see what it would look like. I eventually ended up using the emblem on the engine-cover. Mugatu never likes any of my threads, thats ok though; I forgive him. ha ha.

 

Who cares what he does. If it bothers you go to a different thread. I want the Renesis on the engine cover. Looks awsome. Now when can I send it to you?

 

I currently have LED lights under the engine cover, my camera phone sucks so it does not work very well at night, so i cant get really good night pics.

 

If anyone wants this mod for their engine cover, send me a private message so I can get you my address and all of the information on the work. It only takes a few hours to make so I can have the engine cover back in the mail the following day after I get it.

no the stripes i had on for about a month. stripes are gone now. I just do different things until I find something I really like. Dont hate Mugatu.

 

I wonder what it would look like with the cover red. Or maybe keep cover black. Either way still looks frickin HOT!!

Im in, that looks really nice. I think you should look into doing the airbox, and battery cover too.

 

I don't understand. Seems some are at least one is put off by what someone else does to HIS car? He takes chances with HIS car and makes it different then everyone elses. If he wants to paint a ******* clown face on the top its his choice and he pays the note. Get irritated by people telling other people what taste they should have. Clear corners for example. Maybe some don't like clear corners. Especially since everyone has them. Some like the car clean, some like it radical. Some may put stripes on it, some may take emblems off. Do we want every 8 looking exactly the same?

 

I don't necessarily think he is hating on you. He's consistently pretty negative in his posts so accept him for that. I don't think you should take it personal. At least he's consistent.

 

There is something to be said for consistency. Of course, a consistent pain in my butt is still a pain in my butt. :D

 

Yeah, I think I would like to have a black, or maybe "Lightning Yellow", cover with yellow tinted Lexan in place of the clear. I think that would look great on my yellow 8. You do great work and have some great ideas.
