PIAA or HOEN?

PIAA or HOEN?
For the foglights. I'm going yellow b/c I live in the NW and the weather SUXORZ.
Things I care about: "yellowness." More color the better.
brightness. More the better.
product life.
If all else is equal then the 2X price difference will be the deciding factor (PIAA Ion Crystal H11~ $80, HOEN endurance H11 $40). But the other factors are more important.
Also, I searched. The only person who compared also had yellow tint on the HOEN foglights so I did not consider that valid for my application (don't want the tint, bulbs would have to be yellow enough on their own to match the PIAA's).
Opinions?

Do a search. I saw some threads where people picked yellow and took pics. Save yourself money and buy Hoens. They get great reviews on here and various different car forums on the Web. PIAA are good too, so if you like them that's great as well.

I know you're rolling with the yellow tints. Would you say they compare in yellowness to the PIAA's sans tint? How about brightness?.
Drewman:
eBay FTL. sure they are 60, but add $20 for "shipping and handling", total unreturnability, and a 10 day wait and I'm not interested. Can't even tell you how many times eBay has let me down.
On a side note, I started two threads today(I don't start much) and pointed out in both that I did a search first. In both someone felt like telling me to do a search. WtF? Sometimes I worry this forum is going to turn into the VW mkIII forum I visit occasionally (my other, older car) where it's a bunch of regulars who blast anyone who comes up with something new just because the answer was tangentally implied in a buried post 5 years ago. Please let's not let that happen!

Follow up
well I went with the Hoens. After the PITA install (not hard, just ABSURD) my opinion is that the PIAA's are brighter, but the Hoen's are more yellow. This is comparing two totally different cars w/ different type bulbs though, so take that statement with a large grain of salt. They were yellow enough that I don't feel you are lacking w/ out the lamin-X. Might not be bright enough though to run w/out low beams at night once I do the Fog Light Rewire DIY.
Also at the same time put in a pair of 4-LED 194 parking lights. They come out a suprisingly blue color even though they emit pure white light (I checked). Makes me think the parking light housing lens has a blue tint to it. The combo of light blue LED, bright white HID, and yellow fog's looks

Go Hoens, here are my "high endurance" on with the OEM multi-tint fogs, no film needed
edit: just saw you went with the Hoen's, my bad for being sickly and not paying attention, oh well, at least people can see how yellow they get with the multi-tint fogs now

Guys, i am not a yellow light friend but it look good on your car.
I have seen bulbs for foglights which are chrome plated or silvered not as the usual Blue colored.
Does anyone of you know the brand and from where i can get one of those sets ? I have searched in the ebay but nothing came up.
I want to replace my fog lights LED (which i did 5months ago) with chrome bulbs. I hate when i see in the daylight the headlamps/foglights take the blue color of the bulbs.

They're called stealth bulbs, don't remember the url (something like stealthauto.com maybe?) but that's what you're looking for, just google stealth bulbs or search on here and you should find them no problem.

Well they are not as good as CanaryRX8's pics (nor is my car ) but since I said I would post pics I'll finally post pics.
Dual purpose here. I installed 4-LED 194 city bulbs at the same time, so I wanted to get good pics of those too. Big difference in color there. Kinda wish I could find LED's that were pure white though, Autoluminations seem to have a slight blue tint to the diode (maybe unavoidable at low wattage?)
Anyways, here's the pics of my HOEN endurance (no tint film) bulbs)
Can't wait get the rewire done (dreading the mod though)

m8, i bought LEDs for my city lights but unfortunately they do not fullfill their glass, they only make a white dot spot ,,,,
the stock ones, even if they were like egg :P they looked bigger,, i have bought now a PIAA set 8000k 194. Will they last?

LED's depend very much upon the lens they are in (the bulb itself). Some bulbs are forward-facing, some are wide-angle. Wide-angle will look like halogen, because halogen is all directions, then the housing reflects all the directions forward. Many LED's are forward-only or narrow angle. That is what you had. Mine are kinda like that but not too bad.
The PIAA's should last. Will not be as bright as 4-5000k. Should be a deep blue color. However, PIAA's are probably much brighter than stock so even the slightly dimmer 8000k should be as bright or brighter than stock 194.
