Q: on external mirrors shape between the 2004 and 2008
hey guys,
I searched and nothing came up.
Might anyone know if the mirrors are exactly the same or not between the 2004 and 2008 model? I just bought a new 2008 anniversary edition and since I do a lot of interstate driving, I want to keep the car clean of road rash and road chips.
Colgan doesn't make a bra for the RX8 with the OEM lower air dam but they have mirror covers for the 2004.
Any help would be great!
Kim

Thanks gys for the help. I drive a lot of cross state trips and my last car a Stealth twin turbo had the Colgan bra and mirror covers and they kept the paint like new for 10 years so I asked the parts guy at the dealership and he did a cross check and says..hipe he is right_ that the mirrors are the same for 04-08..I think Mazda is the only mfg. that kept the mirrors the same for that many years_ whew- The clear 3M I will try on the head lights as you suggested. Thanks!
I was going to do the oil cooler screens but given in summer they need all the air they can get I will have to take chances on road junk getting through. I think that is why the 2009 has wider oil cooler openings?

Thanks for the information!
I ordered the Colgan mirror bras and the Mazdagear OEM front mask.
I might make the oil coolers' screen myself from black honeycomb plastic to match the center front using a few L shaped brackets glued under the bumper cover to attach the screens. it looks like once the L brackets are in place, the bumper cover doesn't need to be removed to fit the screens ( fingers crossed)
